The Opening by Design is the education platform of the SPC Alliance, an alliance of independent door and hardware manufacturers. The program exists because openings fail at the seams: between spec and submittal, between hardware sets and field conditions, between what the drawings say and what gets installed. Our instructors work those seams every day.
Our instructors come from manufacturing, distribution, sustainability consulting, and technical services. They hold the credentials the industry recognizes and spend the year on the specification side of the table.
